Tepoztlán

Nestled in the picturesque mountains of Morelos, Mexico, Tepoztlán is a captivating town just a short distance from the vibrant metropolis of Mexico City. Its idyllic location offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and easy access to the cultural and historical riches of the capital city.

For your stay, we recommend booking one of the following hotel options in the town. Our recommendation is to arrive Friday morning but do what works best for you :)

Bajo La Montaña

Our main venue is located in the heart of Tepoztlán (literally), as it is right at the outskirts of the entrance of El Tepozteco (mountain that holds a main archaeological site from the Aztec empire).

To get to the venue, the main hotels will be calling a bunch of taxis so that they are there ready to take you. In case you need to call one, here are a couple options:

On your way there you’ll get a first hand view of the local Mexican culture as the cars will pass right next to a street market, don’t worry your driver will make it work even if it looks like the car doesn’t fit 😅

Getting There (and back) 🚌

  • ✈️ Flights: You will fly into Mexico City International Airport (MEX). If staying in Mexico City, it is easy to Uber from the airport to wherever you are staying.

  • 🚌 Driving to Tepoztlán: Tepoztlán is a 1.5 hour drive away from Mexico City. For those traveling internationally, we’ll have shuttles that run from certain areas of the city and the airport. Exact details TBD, if interested please contact the Groom or Bride.

  • 🚎 Driving back to Mexico City: On Sunday, for those who travel internationally we will have shuttles heading back to locations in Mexico City (including the airport). Exact details TBD. Exact details TBD, if interested please contact the Groom or Bride.
